Simple ways you can start reducing your plastic waste in your every day life.

Swap single-use for multi-use

Take a reusable cup and water bottle out with you to avoid using plastic cups and bottles.

Save money, stay hydrated and prevent plastic pollution

Use the TAP app or Refill app to find places to refill your water bottle with tap water on the go.

Carry a reusable shopping bag

A single plastic bag can take 1,000 years to degrade. Keep a number of reusable bags at hand – in your bag, in the car, in a drawer at work.

Don't be a sucker - skip the straw

Refuse straws (and if you really need to use them buy some bamboo or stainless steel ones to keep in your bag)

Ditch the wrap

Cling film is really difficult to recycle. Why not look for a long lasting alternative such as beeswax wraps

Spread the word

The more people that know about the impact of plastic the better. Spread the word and get them involved with your beach cleans
